I have been using Startron for gasoline for years including over the winter storage. I also use it in my dinghy motor and generator. I can't say it improves anything but I have never had a problem either and my engines start quickly in the spring and idle perfectly!

I feel it is cheap insurance. A number of years ago I had to change all fuel lines on my 3288 because alcohol in the fuel attacked them.

We generally put boats away with a 1/4 tank and add fuel stabilizer, then fill in the spring during launch and you're good to go.

Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but always enough to do it right the second time.

I have a friend who is a mechanic who told me years ago to fill my tank and add stabil and run engine. he believes with a full tank u wont have condensation build up in your tank with the changing winter temperatures.
