HIN decode was created by ZoRay
Hi all
I tried a search and came up empty.
So now I'm a member.
I recently picked up a Bayliner run a bout and am looking to decode the HIN found stamped on the Port upper transom trim.

Reads BLB001DV1074-5PR

BLB is the plant of manufacture but after that I am lost.
Could someone please either decode this VIN/HIN for me or point me to where I can decode it?
It says Discovery Bayliner Boats on name plate port dash.

Thanks in advance for any info provided.

Do you have a picture of the boat and the plate you could post. That does not appear to be a Bayliner number at least back to 94 anyways.

On the following page you can click General Information and you'll then get a page with a link to Bayliner's hull reference database. It only goes back to 84 and as David stated the format of your HIN doesn't look quite right.

You could email Bayliner through their website and ask them to decode it for you. They will also email you an owners manual and everything they have for that model of boat.

go here and enter your info:

Why is there never enough time to do it right the first time, but always enough to do it right the second time.

Welcome aboard ZoRay, as previously stated I think your best bet is to contact Bayliner. Are you planing to do a restoration ?
